Pre-raid BiS is the best gear you can put together at level 60 before you start raiding: dungeon, quest and profession pieces. It's what you'll be farming in the first weeks, so here it is for all 18 roles, slot by slot, with where each piece comes from.
How it's built. Our BiS tool works it out from the client's items: it scores every piece with your role's stat weights and keeps the ones you can get before raids (nothing above item level 63). It isn't anyone's list copied over: it's a calculation, so it may not match what you see elsewhere. Heads up: the beta stopped at level 30, so higher-level items still carry their Classic numbers. Once the game launches on 4 November we'll read Forever's numbers and these tables update on their own.

If you don't know where to start, these are the level 60 dungeons that hand out the most pieces across every role. The usual path is from the lower-level ones (Blackrock Depths) up to the higher ones (Stratholme, Scholomance, Upper Blackrock Spire).

What is pre-raid BiS?
The best gear you can get at level 60 without raiding: dungeon, quest and profession pieces. It gets you ready for your first raid.
Is this pre-raid BiS final?
No. We work it out from the client's items and, for the high-level ones, with Classic's numbers for now, because the beta stopped at 30. Once the game launches we'll recalculate it with Forever's numbers.
Which dungeon should I do first at level 60?
Blackrock Depths and Lower Blackrock Spire are the first ones you can do well as a fresh 60; then Stratholme, Scholomance, Dire Maul and Upper Blackrock Spire.
Why doesn't my list match another site's?
Because this one is a calculation with each role's stat weights, not a hand-made list. In our BiS tool you can swap any piece and see how much it adds.
