WoW Forever 1-60 Leveling Route

Keep it open while you play: pick faction, race, class and level and it shows the stretch you're in, which hub to go to, every quest in the zone to tick off, the dungeon that fits and what you train as you level. Saved in your browser.

Zones you can skip

By the time you'd get to them, their quests give little experience. They're here in case you want to do them anyway.

How it works and where it comes from

  • The route is computed from game data: for each faction, the zones with the most quests in each level stretch, in order, with their hub and flight point. The first stretch is your race's starting zone.
  • The zone order comes from a calculation, not an opinion: after your starting zone, at each point it picks the zone that gives you the most quest experience AT YOUR LEVEL (quests you can already pick up, with the penalty for ones you've outgrown), weighted towards not crossing continents and towards nearby zones. It uses each quest's experience and Classic's experience-per-level table, which Blizzard kept. “Pace” is how much experience you get from kills per point of quest experience (30%, 60% or 100%): an assumption, there is no public figure. With Questie's positions it also counts, with little weight, how spread out each zone's quest givers are. It doesn't know where each quest is completed, so it does not measure play time.
  • Each zone's quests come from the Forever database (list from October 4, 2026): over 1,800, with their level and the level you can pick them up. Quests you can't pick up yet at your level are dimmed. New Forever quests are tagged.
  • What you train at each level comes from the beta client's spellbook.
  • Inside each zone, quests are ordered to walk as little as possible: from the hub, the nearest one you can already pick up, respecting chains (a quest never comes before its prerequisite) and minimum level. For each one you get who gives it, where they are and who you turn it in to, with coordinates on the zone map, and the light dots on the map are the givers of the quests you have left. That data comes from the Questie addon's database (QuestieDB). It is not a timed route and has no in-game arrow: that's what addons are for.
  • The new high-level zones (Riverglades and the rest) have no quests in the database yet: they'll be added when Blizzard opens them.
  • What you tick is saved only in your browser. “Small window” opens the route without the rest of the site, to keep next to the game or on another screen.
