Privacy and cookies

wow4ever sets no cookie just for visiting and has no banner because there is nothing to accept. Here, plainly, is the little it stores and why.

Reviewed 16 September 2026

What is stored

  • lang cookie

    Where and how long

    Your browser, 1 year

    Why

Remember the language you pick in the switcher. Only created if you use it.

    Needs consent?

    No (you ask for it)

  • “My builds”, “My names”, the calculator's last class and the launch-day checklist

    Where and how long

Your browser's local storage, until you clear it

    Why

Keep what you save. It never leaves your device: no accounts and no copy on our servers.

    Needs consent?

    No (you ask for it)

  • Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights

    Where and how long

No cookies or storage in your browser

    Why

Count visits and measure load speed. Aggregated data: page, referrer, country, device type, browser. Vercel identifies the visit with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours; it does not store your IP.

    Needs consent?

No (nothing stored on your device)

  • Our own tool-usage counter

    Where and how long

    wow4ever's database (Supabase)

    Why

Know how many times a day each tool is used (a build copied, a name generated, a spin, a search). Only the day, event name, language and a number are stored. No IP, no identifiers, nothing you type.

    Needs consent?

    No (anonymous)

  • YouTube video (cinematic)

    Where and how long

    Your browser, under Google's policy

    Why

Watch the trailer. Until you press “Play” there is only our own image; pressing it loads the player from youtube-nocookie.com, which may store data to play the video.

    Needs consent?

    Your click on “Play”

No banner, and why

Spanish law (article 22.2 of the LSSI) and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's guidance require consent to store data on your device that isn't needed for something you asked for. wow4ever uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to accept or reject.

If that ever changes (ads, affiliate links, user accounts), this page will change first and, if needed, a notice will let you decline as easily as accept.

The contact form

If you write to us, we use your name, email and message only to read it and reply. The legal basis is your consent when you send it. It isn't stored in any database: the message arrives by email through Resend (the sending provider) and is kept in the inbox for as long as needed to reply, and at most one year. It isn't used to send you anything else and isn't shared with anyone.

To prevent spam, the server looks at your IP address for a few minutes, in memory only, to limit how many messages are sent in a row. It is never written anywhere.

Who hosts the site

Vercel serves the site and, like any server, logs technical request data for a limited time for security and operation. Supabase hosts the news database and the anonymous counter. Both may process data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of anything you sent us, or object to its use, through the contact form in the footer. If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or your local authority.

What your browser stores (language, builds, names, checklist) you can delete at any time from your browser settings, or by removing each item in its tool.
